There are four Brazilian Communications Commissions (CBCs) in charge of organize the work on the international telecommunication forums: Governance and International Regimes (CBC1); Radio communications (CBC2); Telecommunication Standardization (CBC3); and Telecommunication Development (CBC4).
Through CBCs, Anatel encourages the engagement of academia, private actors and other government agencies to contribute directly with the country's projection in the international scenario and, thereby, develop the national telecommunications market. In addition, the knowledge generated in Brazil by entities focused on production, research and development of technologies achieves visibility, respect and international acceptance.
Participation in commissions is opened to whole society, which allows the positions taken by Brazil in international forums should be formulated in a more participatory way. Those interested just need fill out the Form for participation in the Brazilian Communications Commissions (CBCs).
