To promote responsible business conduct and decent work based on a strategy of proactive, preventive and remedial action, by facilitating social, sectoral and inter-institutional dialogue.
- To disseminate the concepts of Responsible Business Conduct, of "ESG" practices and criteria (respect and observation of environmental, social and governance standards and guidelines);
- To disseminate standards and good practices applicable in the scope of economic activities, considering the repercussions on the production chain in which they are inserted;
- To promote broad dialogue with workers' and employers' representatives, as well as with other stakeholders directly or indirectly connected to the development of economic activities and that may contribute to the promotion of decent work;
- To train and raise awareness among workers, employers and civil society about labour protection norms, including occupational safety and health
- To provide technological tools to help companies promoting decent work in their own and their partners' work environments;
- To advocate for the formalization of employment relationships, when an employment relationship is verified, and of other labour relations in order to guarantee labour and social security protection for workers;
- To fight discrimination and promote equal opportunities in the workplace;
- To eradicate child labour and labour in conditions analogous to slavery;
- To attract investments and generate employment and income.
Workers and employers, and their representative organizations; governmental and non-governmental entities; private certifiers; stakeholders; the media; as well as other direct and indirect participants in labour relations.
