About the Program
Protect Work is a permanent campaign promoted by the Labor Inspection Secretariat (SIT) since September 2020, in partnership with the International Labour Organization (ILO), the International Organization for Migration (IOM), and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
The aim is to inform and raise awareness among migrant and refugee workers, employers, and other members of civil society about the labor rights provided for in Brazilian legislation.
Here, workers can find brochures and videos on work cards, child labor, work analogous to slavery, professional training, temporary work, among others. The brochures are translated into English, Spanish, French, and Arabic.
