PROHIBITED GOODS
Example of goods prohibited of leaving the country:
- Raw skins and hides of amphibians and reptiles;
- Wild Animals, Lepidoptera and other insects and their products without waybill, provided by the Ministry of the Environment;
- Narcotics and drugs.
RESTRICTED GOODS
Some goods are subject to specific controls, regardless of the value and quantity, require the consent of other agencies, which, preferably, should be obtained before departure from Brazil. Examples:

Rough diamonds originating in non-participants countries of the Kimberley Process | Certification of the Kimberley Process, given to the participating countries, published by the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade |
Any works of art and traditional crafts produced in Brazil until the end of the monarchical period or from Portugal and incorporated into the country during the colonial and imperial regimes and those produced abroad, in the same periods, that represent Brazilian´s personalities related with the history of Brazil or landscapes and traditions of the country | Ministry of Culture |
