Money when departure from Brazil

If the traveller is carrying money, in US dollars or another currency in cash, exceeding US$ 10,000.00 and he(she) is leaving Brazil, is required to submit Electronic Traveller's Declaration of Goods (e-DBV).
Should be declared the amount of cash in paper-money, in US dollars or another currency, not included the titles of credit, checks or traveler's checks.
WHAT SHOULD BE SUBMITTED TO CUSTOMS AUTHORITIES?
- The amount in cash declared;
- Electronic Traveller's Declaration of Goods (e-DBV);
- Proof of purchase of foreign currency in authorized bank or institution licensed to operate with foreign exchange in the country, in an amount equal or greater than declared;
- Declaration submitted to brazilian Customs unit, when arrived in Brazil, equal or greater than the amount in his (her) possession;
- Proof of receipt in cash, by payment order in foreign currency in his(her) favor, or withdrawal by the use of international credit card, if non-resident traveler in Brazil (brazilian or foreign).
The traveler can fill the e-DBV through the Internet at http://www.edbv.receita.fazenda.gov.br/

The money presentation happens in areas intended to accomplishment of the control of the traveler’s goods.
