Lula speaks with Mexican President
President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva spoke by phone with Claudia Sheinbaum, the President of Mexico, to discuss issues related to bilateral and regional agendas, Thursday (23) at 2:15 PM.
Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to fostering productive relations with all countries in the Americas, including the new U.S. administration, with the goal of preserving peace, strengthening democracy, and promoting regional development.
Lula and Sheinbaum emphasized the importance of strengthening forums such as the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) and agreed to maintain regular channels of communication to enhance coordination between Brazil and Mexico.
President Lula extended an invitation to Sheinbaum to make a State visit to Brazil, aiming to develop the strong momentum of their bilateral relationship.
