AGENDA NOTICE
Lula to participate in the G20 Social Summit Closing Ceremony
President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva will be attending the closing ceremony of the G20 Social Summit this Saturday, November 16, at 12 PM (Brasilia time). We are also honored to welcome the President of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa, who will be hosting the next edition of the G20 in 2025.
The G20 Social Summit represents the culmination of the collective efforts of the government, civil society, and social and people's movements throughout 2024 to enhance the involvement of non-governmental stakeholders in the engagement activities and working groups coordinated by the ministries. The main objective was to generate consistent content and proposals that the G20 decision-making processes could consider.
PRESS — Due to space limitations at the event venue, press access will be restricted to a pool of image reporters, who will be contacted privately by the email they provided on the G20 accreditation form. Only invited journalists will have access to the ceremony. The remaining journalists can follow the ceremony live, with audio in Portuguese and English, through the screens available at the Espaço Kobra.
The ceremony will also be broadcast live through a link shared with accredited journalists by the Presidency of the Republic's Communications Office and the official social media profiles of the G20 and G20 Social.
