Credential Pickup and Journalist Access at the G20 Summit International Media Center

The G20 Summit will take place at Rio de Janeiro’s Modern Art Museum (Museu de Arte Moderna /MAM) on November 18 and 19, 2024. Media professionals who have had their applications approved must follow the guidelines below:
- The first stage of credential pick-up starts on November 12 and extends until November 15, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, at Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), located at Praia de Botafogo, 190 - Botafogo - Rio de Janeiro - RJ
- From November 16 until the end of the Summit, delivery will be from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, also at FGV.
- Companies wishing to designate a representative to collect staff credentials must submit an official document that includes the names, CPFs (or passport numbers for foreign nationals), and the roles of each professional whose credentials are to be given to the representative.
- Credentials grant exclusive access to the International Media Center during its opening hours during the G20 Summit. Media professionals will only have access to Summit events if authorized by the organizing committee.
- Issued credentials will not be reissued unless a verified technical issue occurs. Please do not lose or forget your credential, as it serves as your identification for access to the G20 Summit International Media Center.
- Media professionals will only be allowed access to the International Media Center via buses provided by the organizing committee. Buses will depart from FGV according to the schedule below. Access by car, taxi (or other private transportation), public transport, or on foot will not be permitted.
BUS SCHEDULE — FGV - Centro de Mídia - FGV Circuit - no stops along the way:
- Sunday, November 17 - Opening and Recognition of the International Media Center - from 1:00 PM to 8:45 PM
- Monday, November 18 - First day of the Summit - from 5:50 to 8:30 AM/ from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM/ from 9:00 PM to 11:45 PM.
- Tuesday, November 19 - Closing of the Summit - from 5:50 to 7:30 AM/ from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM / from 5:00 PM to 9:45 PM.
