President Lula holds telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin

President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva spoke by phone with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday morning, at 10:00 a.m., Brasília time. The call lasted approximately 20 minutes.
During the conversation, President Putin inquired about President Lula's health and expressed regret over the Brazilian leader’s absence from the BRICS Summit. President Lula explained that he was unable to attend in person due to an accident he suffered on Saturday (19). Arrangements are being made for him to participate in the summit via videoconference.
