President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva's agenda at the G7 Summit in Italy included a bilateral meeting with India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday, June 14. Recently re-elected, Modi confirmed his attendance at the G20 Summit scheduled for November 18-19 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. India held the G20 presidency before Brazil in 2023. During their meeting, President Lula informed Prime Minister Modi of his intention to visit India.
