Federal Government and Banco do Brasil Foundation open account for donations from individuals in support of flood victims in RS
As part of the response to the unprecedented natural disaster that hit the state of Rio Grande do Sul in recent weeks, the Federal Government, in partnership with the Banco do Brasil Foundation (FBB), has opened a bank account designed to receive donations from individuals, entities, companies and other private agents located abroad.
Banco do Brasil will not charge administrative fees on credit operations for donations made to this account, both in Brazil and abroad. Donors who choose to use the services of other financial institutions must negotiate the remittance costs directly with those institutions, including the time required to complete the remittance.
