In its 36th edition, Brazil takes center stage as the guest of honor at the Bogotá International Book Fair (FILBo 2024). Taking place from April 17th to May 2nd, 2024, this prestigious event will be hosted by Colombia, representing the country's foremost gathering in editorial and cultural spheres. The Brazilian Ministry of Culture (MinC) will play a prominent role, offering an extensive program featuring more than 60 authors. Additionally, cultural events curated by poet Stephany Borges will complement the literary offerings.
The opening ceremony of the event on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, will feature the presence of Brazil's Minister of Culture, Margareth Menezes, and the President of the Republic, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.
