President Lula receives French President Emmanuel Macron in Brasilia (DF)

The President of the Republic, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, will receive at the Planalto Palace, the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, this Thursday, March 28, in Brasília (DF).

A bilateral meeting, an act-signing ceremony and a press statement will be held at the Palace. The authorities will then proceed to Itamaraty Palace, where they will have lunch.

Due to tight security conditions, the Esplanade of Ministries is to be closed this Thursday (28), especially in the area around the National Congress and the Planalto Palace, from 8:00 a.m. until the end of the ceremony. Access to the event venues should be via the S2 and N2 roads.

Press professionals must pick up their credentials for the events by 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday (27) at the Press Accreditation Coordination Office, in the first basement, room no. 5, of the Planalto Palace - Brasília - DF. Credentials will also be available from 10:00 a.m. on Thursday (28), at the main entrance of the Planalto Palace. Credentials for the year 2024 will not be accepted at this event.
