President Lula talks with the IMF managing director at the G7 summit

President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva held today with the International Monetary Fund managing director, Kristalina Georgieva. The meeting took place at the G7 summit in Hiroshima, Japan.
The main topic on the agenda was the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the world's poorest countries. Lula and Kristalina agreed that affected nations' financial systems need funds to recover.
The situation of Argentina's economy was also discussed since it is highly influential to the regional balance of South America.
