President Lula receives 12 new ambassadors at the Planalto Palace

President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva was given today (24) the credentials of 12 new ambassadors to Brazil. The ceremony was held at the presidential office in the Planalto Palace.
Accreditation was granted to representatives from three countries in Africa (Democratic Republic of Congo, Mozambique and Senegal); three in South America (Chile, Colombia and Venezuela); two in Central America (Cuba and Nicaragua); two in Asia (Malaysia and Saudi Arabia); one in Europe (Armenia); and one in Oceania (Australia).
The agenda is part of the resumption of Brazil's diplomatic relations with the rest of the world — which also includes Lula's participation in the expanded G7 summit in Japan, in the Celac summit and several meetings with world leaders.

Saudi Arabia — Faisal Ibrahim Ghulam;
Mozambique — Jacinto Januário Maguni;
Australia — Sophie Millicent Grant Davies;
Venezuela — Manuel Vicente Vadell Aquino;
Colombia — Guillermo Rivera Flórez;
Chile — Sebastián Depolo Cabrera;
Malaysia — Gloria Corina Anak Peter Tiwet;
Armenia — Armen Yeganian;
Nicaragua — Gadiel Osmani Arce Zepeda;
Senegal — Aminata Fall Cisse;
Cuba — Adolfo Curbelo Castellanos.
