Annual Press Accreditation 2025 - Brasilia and states

The Press Office (Secretaria de Imprensa) begins on Monday, January 6th, the annual accreditation process for professionals covering the Presidency of the Republic – both in Brasília and in the states – at events where the presence of the President and/or the Vice President, acting as the President, is expected. The accreditation is open to Brazilian and foreign journalists, as well as technical professionals. This year, accreditation will be unified for the entire country. The procedures follow the guidelines of SECOM/PR Ordinance No. 24, dated December 26, 2024. Please carefully read all the provisions of the ordinance before completing the accreditation process. ⚠️The annual credential is valid throughout the national territory.

The accreditation request must be made by 11:00 p.m. on February 7, 2025 (Brasília time), by accessing the Presidency of the Republic’s Accreditation System for Press Professionals [Sistema de Credenciamento de Profissionais de Imprensa da Presidência da República] on the Palácio do Planalto website, and choosing the event “ANNUAL ACCREDITATION 2025 – BRASILIA AND STATES” [CREDENCIAMENTO ANUAL 2025 – BRASÍLIA E ESTADOS]. There, the professional's and the company's data must be updated, and all documents required by the Presidency of the Republic must be attached.

The following criteria for professionals per company will be followed:

TV: 05 reporters, 05 cinematographic reporters, 05 technicians and 05 assistants;

Radio: 05 reporters and 05 radio broadcasters;

Newspapers/Magazines: 05 reporters and 05 photojournalists;

News Agencies: 05 reporters and 05 photojournalists; and

News Portals (Internet Media): 05 reporters and 05 photojournalists and 05 technicians.
