Accreditation for the Amazon Summit and the Amazon Dialogues

The Amazon Summit – IV Meeting of Presidents of States Parties to the Amazon Cooperation Treaty (ACTO) will be held in Belém, on August 8 and 9, 2023, with the presence of the President of the Republic Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.

The Amazon Summit is an initiative led by President Lula to foster cooperation between Amazonian countries and other partners in favor of sustainable development and other agendas related to the region. The Amazon Dialogues, which precede the Summit, will be attended by Ministers of State and representatives of the organized civil society.

Press accreditation requests must be made by 6:00 pm on July 30, 2023 (Brasília time) by accessing the Press Accreditation System on the Palácio do Planalto website. The press accreditation for the Conference will also be valid for the Amazon Dialogues, which will occur on August 4, 5, and 6, 2023.

All Press Professionals must request participation in the event through the link Accreditation for the Amazon Conference and for the Amazon Dialogues. The 2023 annual credentials will not be accepted for these events.
