IV Astrobiology School at Observatório Nacional
IV AstrobiON
November 21st-25th, 2022
Astrobiology has increasingly attracted the scientific community's attention as it seeks to understand, in a multidisciplinary way, the origin and evolution of life on our planet and, more broadly, the possibility of life in the Universe. This field of research has been further strengthened in the last decades with the discoveries of nearly 5,000 planets outside the solar system — the exoplanets.
This fourth edition of our traditional Astrobiology School at Observatório Nacional had three courses and three lectures given by renowned experts in the field.
IV AstrobiON was mainly aimed at graduate students, postdocs and researchers working in the field or in related areas.
Registration for the event is no longer possible. The PDF files of the lectures and courses are available by clicking on the "Program" link on the top menu.
