Apostille
Since Brazil became a member of the Hague Conference on Private International Law, in 2016, the Brazilian consular offices no longer legalise foreign documents of countries who are also members of the Hague Conference. Namibia is a member of the Conference.
HOW TO OBTAIN AN APOSTILLE FOR NAMIBIAN DOCUMENTS TO BE USED IN BRAZIL
Namibian documents must be accompanied by an apostille. Different types of documents are apostilled by different authorities in Namibia. Once you have obtained your apostille, you must have the original document and its apostille translated into Portuguese by a Brazilian certified translator (tradutor juramentado). You can search for one online or access their union's website (which only shows their affiliate members): https://sintra.org.br/tradutores.
