VITEM XI

To apply for a family reunion visa, the following documents are required:

- Application form available on the website https://formulario-mre.serpro.gov.br

- Valid passport

- Previous passport, if any

- Two recent and color 3x4 photographs

- Birth certificate

- Negative criminal record certificate

- Proof of kinship with the Brazilian or resident in Brazil

- Copy of identification document of the Brazilian or resident in Brazil (RG, RNE or VITEM Visa)

- Health insurance

- Copy of the reservation of air tickets to Brazil

- Minors under 18 who are traveling unaccompanied by one or both parents must present a notarized letter of parental authorization

- Visa Fee - US$100 (payment must be made in cash)

• All documents submitted must be translated into English, Portuguese or Spanish.

• Only visa applications whose documentation has been sent digitally through the online form will be processed.

• After completing the electronic form, the electronic system receipt (only the first page) and the original documents, including the applicant's passport, must be delivered to the Consular Section of the Embassy in person.
