Guidance for travellers: yellow fever
Travellers flying to Brazil and back to Singapore, please be aware that while Brazil does not require the presentation of yellow fever vaccination certificates to allow entrance into the country, Singapore authorities require vaccination of all travellers, including Singapore residents, with travel history to countries with risk of yellow fever transmission in the six days prior to arrival in Singapore.
Please also note that as the vaccination for yellow fever is only considered valid 10 days after the shot, short-term travellers might need to be vaccinated prior to embarking to Brazil.
More details on the requirements and consequences of not having such certificate can be found at ICA's website while details on the disease and vaccine may be found at MOH's website.
