Brazil and China sign new agreement on tourism and business visas
From February onwards, visas will be issued with a validity of up to 10 years

Minister Mauro Vieira and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, Wang Yi, signed on January 19, 2024, in Brasília, a new agreement between Brazil and China on visas for tourism and business travel.
The new agreement will come into force 30 days after its signature and will allow the consular authorities of both countries to grant visas valid for up to 10 years, doubling the current maximum grant period. The initiative will facilitate travel, encourage business promotion and boost tourism between countries.
