The Embassy of Brazil in Singapore is one of the more than 200 diplomatic and consular missions of Brazil around the world. It represents the Brazilian government to the Republic of Singapore and maintains permanent communication with local authorities, government officials and the private sector, with a view to strengthening political, business and friendship ties between the two nations.
The Consular Section of the Embassy provides documents and assistance to Brazilian citizens who are visiting or residing in Singapore and offers visas and document legalization services to foreigners travelling to or dealing with Brazil.
The Trade Section of the Embassy is in charge of fostering bilateral economic relations, mainly through the creation of trade and investment opportunities for Brazilian and Singaporean companies. It also aims at promoting tourism in Brazil.
The Science, Technology and Innovation Section is responsible for prospecting cooperation initiatives between agents in the Brazilian and Singaporean science, technology and innovation ecosystems, and for publicizing the opportunities offered by Brazil in this area.
In addition to the intense trade exchanges between the two countries and their ever-growing political ties, Brazil and Singapore share artistic and cultural interests. The Embassy’s activities spread into many other areas of bilateral cooperation, such as education, science and technology, and sports.
