On 11th August 2023, President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva unveiled Brazil's New Growth Acceleration Programme ("Novo PAC" - Programa de Aceleração do Crescimento) at a ceremony in Rio de Janeiro's historic Municipal Theatre.

Focusing on development and sustainability, the Program is organized along 9 investment axes and foresees investments of R$ 1.7 trillion (US$ 347 billion), mainly during the 2023-2026 period.
