How to pay:

• Please pay the exact amount.
• We only accept payment by money order or certified cheque (obtained from Canada Post or your local bank), made payable to the "Embassy of Brazil in Ottawa". Please write down the name of the applicant(s) on the reference line of the check or money order (first and last names). Thus, your certified check or money order should be easily identifiable.
• We do not accept payments in cash, personal cheque, credit or debit card.
• Payment must be in Canadian funds only.

Notice

Citizens of Canada, USA and Australia need a visa to enter Brazil from April 10th, 2025. The fees are payable to a different institution and the applications are not directly made to the Embassy. You can apply HERE.

The measure benefits holders of a valid passport traveling for tourism, business, artistic or sports activities. The initiative also covers travelers transiting through Brazil.

Visitors from these countries are granted a stay of up to 90 days, which can be extended once for the same period, providing they do not exceed 180 days within a 12-month period, counted from the date of the first entry.
