Required Documents
At the Embassy’s discretion other documents could be required if deemed necessary.
-

-
Round-trip ticket, booked itinerary (reservation) or letter from a travel agent under applicant’s name, with complete itinerary, flight number and arrival/departure dates and reservation code provided by the airline company.

-
Additional visa requirements for applicants under 18 years old:
- Both parents must sign the receipt page (Visa Request Form Receipt - RER) in the appropriate signature box;
- Letter of consent from both parents. Please note that the authorization is requested from both parents in any situation (even when the minor is travelling accompanied by both or only by one of the parents).
- If the application is not lodged by the parents in person, the absent parent (s) must sign the form before a Notary Public, and present notarized copies of parent's ID and unabridged birth certificate of the minor. The letter must also indicate the person responsible for the applicant.
Important:
The Embassy of Brazil in Astana will only accept visa applications of which the applicant’s photograph, signature and other required documents have been duly uploaded to the application form. Instructions on uploading can be found on the application form.
Please note that the documents (including the 3x4 photograph) mentioned in the visa requirements still have to be physically presented at the Embassy.
Applicants may be required to come in person for an interview or to collect their documents, at the discretion of the consular authority.
Invitation letter for foreigners
There is no single model for invitation letters, but some items are necessary, such as: complete name of the applicant, nationality, purpose of the trip and intended period of stay. The signature must be notarized in Brazil and the original document must be sent to the applicant, so that he or she may present it to the consular authority when applying for the visa.
