Visa Agents

The only official information on visa is the one found on this website and on that of the Consulate-General in Mumbai.

Although it is legal to use an agent to apply for a visa, the Embassy and the Consulate-General reiterate that it is not necessary. Some agents describe the procedure to get visas for Brazil as more complex than it is and may present you with outdated information on requirements.

No agent is authorized to speak on behalf of the Embassy or the Consulate General. In the past, the Embassy has been victim of unscrupulous agents, leading to the cancellation of many visas. Please be sure the agent you use is not in the blacklist of Ministry of External Affairs.
