Scheduling appointments
1. Log in:
Acess the e-consular system and register. You can change the language by clicking on "Idiomas" on the top-right corner and selecting English.
Access can be done by computer, tablet or mobile phone.
If you have a CPF (Brazilian taxpayer ID), click on "Enter with GOV.BR". Otherwise, select "Click here to enter your e*mail and password" (if you choose this option, skip the next step).
2. Follow the instructions of the GOV.BR portal:
You can enter your CPF number and full name to create the profile on the GOV.BR platform.
Follow the steps of the system carefully.
You will receive an e-mail with a code, which must be entered into the system to create the profile.
*Check your spam box if you have not received the system e-mail with the access code. If you can't find the e-mail in the spam box, we suggest you register with another e-mail address.
3. Select the country where you want to request services:
After creating your profile, you will be directed to the page of the Brazilian Consular Service, where you must choose the country where you are located.
Open the list and choose "Kenya". If you are in Burundi, Rwanda, Uganda or Somalia, please also choose "Kenya", as these countries are part of our jurisdiction.
Then click on "Request services at this consular post".
4. Choose the service:
You will be automatically directed to the main page of the system, where you can choose the desired service by clicking on "New service".
Select the service and click on "Start".
5. Fill in the information:
Read the instructions carefully and fill in all the requested information.
Upload images of the required documents on each field of the electronic form.
At the end, click on "Next step".
6. Finalize the request:
After filling in all the information, a page will be generated in order to review the data entered.
Read each item carefully, correct any informtation if necessary and send your application for validation by clicking on the green button at the bottom of the page.
7. Request sent successfully:
After sending, the system will show a message in green, indicating your request has been received by the Embassy.
8. Wait for the system's response:
A message will be sent to your e-mail validating the appointment or requesting additional information.
9. Correction of the application (if needed):
If you have received a message stating pending issues, make the necessary corrections and resend the form for validation. It is possible to check what is pending on the system itself.
10. Validation and scheduling:
If your documentation is correct, the e-mail message will show a link to access the service agenda (date and time) or the posting agenda (blue button, date and time). Please choose one of the options and schedule either your visit to the Consular Section of the Embassy or the appointment to send your documentation by a postal/courier service.
ATTENTION! I have sent my request through the e-consular system. Can I go to the Embassy immediately?
No. You must wait for the request to be validated. If any information or documents are missing, you will receive a notification (step 8 above). If everything is correct, you will also be notified and allowed to access the calendar slots to schedule your appointment (step 10 above).
