The Trade and Investment Section of the Embassy of Brazil in Lusaka is responsible for:
- Promoting Brazilian exports, investments, and tourism.
- Offering support to Brazilian companies wishing to enter the Zambian market.
- Lending assistance to Zambian companies wishing to invest in Brazil or interested in importing from Brazil.
- Providing economic and statistical data on the Brazilian and Zambian markets.
- Promoting contact between Brazilian and Zambian executives.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock of Brazil prepared a general catalogue of companies participating in the Ministry's commercial promotion actions.

“BRAZILIAN CATTLE” PROJECT – VIRTUAL BUSINESS ROUND (23/10-01/11/2024)
The “Brazilian Cattle” project will hold a virtual business roundtable, creating business opportunities between international buyers and Brazilian companies in the livestock sector.
This free event will be completely online, between October 23rd and November 1st, 2024. Thirty leading Brazilian companies in the sector will participate in this roundtable, from various segments: semen and embryos; veterinary products; seeds; machinery and equipment; livestock management systems; animal nutrition; technical training; consulting; and biotechnology.

“Brazilian Cattle” is one of the sector projects executed by ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), through a partnership with ABCZ (Brazilian Association of Zebu Breeders). Since 2003, this project has been working to develop commercial promotion and facilitate the process of opening and consolidating markets for companies in the Brazilian livestock chain. AGRO.BR ONLINE BUSINESS ROUNDS: OPPORTUNITIES FOR LOCAL IMPORTERS
The Brazilian Agriculture and Livestock Confederation (CNA) will hold virtual business rounds with potential foreign buyers on the following dates:
- from September 30th to October 4th, 2024; and
- from October 28th to November 1st, 2024;
Through these virtual meetings, local stakeholders will be able to meet more than 200 Brazilian food and beverage suppliers and discover new business opportunities through an online platform.

MOVELSUL BRASIL 2025 AND FIMMA BRASIL: GOOD BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE FURNITURE SECTOR
Two important fairs of the furniture sector will take place in Brazil, both in the city of Bento Gonçalves (State of Rio Grande do Sul), next year. These are "Movelsul Brasil 2025", to take place between February 17th and 20th, 2025, and "Fimma Brasil", between August 4th and 7th, 2025.
Held since 1977, "Movelsul Brasil" (https://www.movelsul.com.br/) is the main furniture fair in Latin America in terms of exhibition area, number of exhibitors and professional visitors. Its objective is to foster business between the furniture industry and buyers from Brazil and abroad. "Fimma Brasil" (https://fimma.com.br/), which has been held for 35 years, is the main Brazilian fair for suppliers of the wood and furniture production chain and is among the five most important fairs in the world in its segment. It brings together exhibitors of machinery, tools, hardware, raw materials, technology, paints, accessories, and packaging, among other segments that serve the furniture sector.
