Visitor Visa (VIVIS)
- The Brazilian Embassy in Lima does not recommend and cannot be held accountable for the services offered by visa processing agencies.
- The Brazilian Embassy in Lima also notes that the use of visa processing agencies does not make the visa application process any quicker.
- The Brazilian visa application can be filled out free of charge by the applicant and must be presented along with the other required documents.
- Tourist visa are not valid for work. In case of study it´s only applicable if the activities do not exceed 90 days.
- If applicable, the Embassy may require additional documents.
- Visa fees are not refundable

Additional requirements for business:

Original invitation letter from either the foreign employer or the Brazilian company / institution to which the applicant is linked The invitation letter must be printed on company letterhead and contain the following information: a) The applicant's full personal details, including job, position and function; b) Purpose of the trip (brief description of the activities) and intended length of stay; c) Details of the company and person in charge in Brazil (full name, telephone, e-mail etc.); d) If applicable, declaration that all the applicant's travel expenses will be covered, during the entire stay in Brazil, by the employer or by the Brazilian company / institution being visited. In case the invitation letter contains this information, the applicant will not have to present personal proof of sufficient financial means (item 2 above). Please note:

Visa Through mail (DHL):
1 - Gather all documents requested (including the receipt from visa payment, and the original passport)
2 - Request visa service through E-CONSULAR platform.
2 - Attend to the DHL agency once your application is approved:

3 - You must hire the back and forth service for your documents.
4 - The Embassy analyses the application. If approved, the visa will be processed and then sent back to the same DHL agency where the services were previously requested.
Mailing fees must be requested at DHL agency.
NOTE:
- It is the requester responsibility to present all the required documents properly (DHL will not check the documents inside the envelope).
- If any mandatory document on the list is missing, the Embassy will not initiate the process.
- It is necessary to present a valid ID (with photo) in order to deliver or collect the documents at DHL agency.
