In-person Service - Appointment
All in-person services are rendered by appointment only.
Appointment times are available from Monday to Friday, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
* From 9:00 am to 10:00 am, the Consular Section remains entirely dedicated to answering inquiries by telephone.
From 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, the Consular Section is dedicated to answering requests by e-mail, processing internal consular services and issuing documents requested by the public.
Attention:
Arrive at the Consular Section at the scheduled time. If you are unable to come, for any reason, cancel your appointment at the e-consular system or inform us in advance by e-mail to consular.helsinque@itamaraty.gov.br.
The tolerance for delays is a maximum of 15 minutes. Delays beyond the tolerance period prevent the immediate provision of the consular service. A new appointment must be made to collect the finished service.
For your convenience, some services can be carried out entirely by mail. Check the availability of services by mail on each consular service's website.

Important:
- The Consular Section is not able to handle appointments by telephone or e-mail. Appointments should be carried out by the interested party by means of the e-consular website.
- Before coming to your appointment, remember to carefully read the instructions on our website. Consular services can only be provided if the applicant presents all the documents required for the service in question and is able to pay the consular fees. If the service cannot be provided, it will be necessary to make a new appointment.

- For security and privacy reasons, only the applicant and their companions are allowed at a time in the Consular Section. Do not show up before the scheduled time, as there are no waiting rooms. Remember to prepare properly for rain, cold and snow.
- Remember to bring all original mandatory documents to the service. We recommend to bring all your Brazilian documents. If any documents are missing, the service will not be provided.
- Bring your mobile phone enabled with internet banking of a bank account in Finland, for payment of the consular fees. Payments made from accounts abroad (third countries, wise, etc) and from Brazil may prevent the immediate provision of your consular service.
