ARTISTIC OR SPORTS ACTIVITIES (VITEM XII)
TO BE OBSERVED
The issuance of a visa is a discretionary act of the Republic of Brazil. Since this is a purely discretionary act, there can be no guarantees regardless of the circumstances presented. A visa can be granted, denied, extended or changed according to national interests, even if the visa previously has been authorized.
A visa is not a right in itself, but an expectation to be admitted. Whenever there is a doubt on the purpose of the trip; the identity of the
applicant; the applicant is aggressive or disrespectful toward the consular officer, the visa can be denied. We also may require an interview and request additional documents and informations.
