Brazilian Program for Exchange Students (PEC-G) - 2025 Selection Process – Dar es Salaam
Do you want to study in Brazil?
The Embassy of Brazil in Dar es Salaam is glad to announce that enrollments for the 2025 selection process for the Exchange Program for Undergraduate Students (PEC-G) are open at the Embassy until 23 August, 2024.
The Program offers foreign students free vacancies for undergraduate courses in more than a hundred Brazilian higher education institutions. There are no institutional costs or admission fees, but no scholarships are granted. All applicants must have sufficient funds to afford maintenance in Brazil throughout the course.
The language of the courses is Portuguese. If you do not have a proficiency certificate in Portuguese, you need to apply to a preparatory course in Portuguese (PEC-PLE). You will spend your first year in Brazil taking a free Portuguese language and Brazilian culture course to obtain your Celpe-Bras certificate. After obtaining the certificate, the student will be able to start the undergraduate course at PEC-G in 2026.
