Police Certificate issued by Syrian authorities
In order to be valid in Brazil, Police/Disclosure Certificates issued by police authorities in Syria must be legalized by the Embassy.

Police Certificate issued by the Brazilian Federal Police
The Embassy can legalise Police Certificates electronically issued by the Federal Police.
The procedure aims to certify the certificate's authenticity to the recipient in Syria.
* All Brazilian citizens and foreigners who obtain residency cards in Brazil must have a CPF number in order to request services at the Embassy. If you don't have a CPF, please click here for more details about how to request one.

How to request
1. Read carefully all the instructions in this page and gather all the documents required.
2. Bring the original documents to the Embassy anytime from Sunday to Thursday, 10AM-1PM. If the application is complete, the consular agent will provide you with the deposit slip for payment. If not, they will ask you to provide further documents within 48 hours.
3. Once the payment is made, you must bring the proof of payment back to the Embassy.
4. Your application will be analised and prepared by the Consular authorities usually within a couple of days.
5. You will be informed as of when to present yourself at the Embassy to collect your document.
