Replacement Copies of Military Documents

The issue of replacement copies of the following military documents can be requested:

1. Military Draft Certificate (CAM) ["Certificado de Alistamento Militar"]
2. Reservist Certificate (CR) ["Certificado de Reservista"]
3. Discharge Certificate (CDI) ["Certificado de Dispensa de Incorporação"]
4. Exemption Certificate (CI) ["Certificado de Isenção"]
5. Others (please check at the Military Department)

Required documentation

1. One photocopy of a Brazilian ID document displaying parents' full names (e.g. birth certificate, marriage certificate or identity card);
2. Military document application form completed and signed;
3. Photo ID document (Brazilian passport or identity card - RG). The document must allow the clear identification of the individual. If the Brazilian passport or identity card (RG) are very old, another official photo ID must be submitted, even if it is a foreign document (passport, driving licence, residence card etc.).
