How to request a birth/marriage/death registration, certified copies and/or correction of registration
1. Read carefully all the instructions concerning the service required, fill in the adequate request form and gather all the necessary documents.
2. Book an appointment by phone: +963 (11) 612-4551/4552/4557/4559
3. Bring the original documents and the form to the Embassy on the arranged date. If the application is complete, the consular agent will collect your documentation and will give you the receipt for payment at the bank (see consular fees here). If not, they will ask you to provide further documents within 48 hours.
4. Your application will be analised and prepared by the Consular authorities in around 30 days. Note that, depending on the case, it can take longer than expected.
5. You will then be informed as of when to present yourself at the Embassy to sign the registration and collect the certificate.
