Covid-19: end of measures for the entry of travelers in Brazil
Since May 21, there is no longer any health restriction related to Covid-19 for travelers to enter Brazil. With the end of the health emergency of international importance announced by the World Health Organization (WHO), the National Health Surveillance Agency – Anvisa no longer requires presentation of vaccination or tests for entry into the country.
Health restrictions for boarding, disembarking and transporting travelers on cruises were revoked by Anvisa on May 15, with the publication of Collegiate Board Resolution (RDC) 789/2023. The measures for airports and aircraft, provided for in RDC 684/2022, expired on May 21, with the end of the rule.

The changes follow the line adopted by most countries, after the WHO decreed the end of the international emergency caused by the new coronavirus (Sars-CoV-2).
The United States, for example, the only country in North America that still required vaccination, removed restrictions on the entry of travelers on May 12th. Most countries in Europe released entries in 2022, such as the United Kingdom, Spain, Portugal and Germany.
Cruise ship rules
For cruise ships, the notification of suspected and confirmed cases and the isolation of patients on board are mandatory. Although Anvisa no longer requires the presentation of a vaccination certificate or a Covid-19 test, shipping companies can impose their own requirements for boarding. Check with the company before traveling!
