Cultural Section

The section is responsible for matters related to culture, promotion of the Portuguese language, student exchanges and academic cooperation.

It also guides the work of the Guimarães Rosa Institute - Beirut, a culture and language center created in 2011 that is the only school of Portuguese language in Lebanon.

Through the Cultural Section and the Guimarães Rosa Institute - Beirut, the Embassy of Brazil promotes dozens of high quality cultural activities every year, most of them for free, including exhibitions, film festivals, music performances and gastronomy events.
