If your passport has been lost, stolen, or damaged, you should take the following steps: |
1. Report the incident: Immediately report the loss, theft, or damage of your passport to the local authorities, such as the police. Obtain a copy of the report or a reference number as proof. |
2. Notify the embassy or consulate: Contact the consular sector of the Brazilian Embassy in Lebanon to inform them about the situation. They will provide assistance in obtaining a new passport. |
3. Complete the necessary forms: Fill out the required forms for a new passport application. Provide accurate and complete information to facilitate the process |
4. Gather supporting documents: Prepare the necessary supporting documents, such as identification, proof of citizenship, proof of residence, and any additional documentation required by the embassy or consulate |
5. Schedule an appointment: Make an appointment with the embassy or consulate to submit your application and supporting documents. Follow their instructions regarding the appointment booking process. |
6. Pay the applicable fees: Be prepared to pay the required fees for a new passport. The embassy or consulate will provide information on the accepted methods of payment. |
7. Attend the appointment: On the scheduled date and time, visit the embassy or consulate to submit your application and supporting documents. Follow any additional instructions provided by the embassy or consulate staff. |
8. Follow up on the application: After submitting your application, stay in contact with the embassy or consulate to track the progress of your new passport application. They will inform you when the passport is ready for collection. |
