VISIT VISA (VIVIS)
A visit visa is issued to foreigners traveling to Brazil for stays of up to 90 days, without intent to immigrate or engage in paid activities. This visa can be granted for purposes such as tourism, business, transit, artistic or sports activities, study, volunteer work, or attending conferences, seminars, or meetings, provided there is no payment or remuneration of any kind in Brazil and the stay does not exceed 90 days. The VIVIS visa is valid for one year, multiple entrances within 90 days.
VERY IMPORTANT VISA APPLICATION GUIDELINES
Processing Time:
Visas typically require at least 20 working days for processing after submission.
Please allow at least 20 working days for processing from the date we receive all required documents.
Tourist Visa Submission:
Tourists may submit their documents in person at the Embassy. Alternatively, a representative with a power of attorney and all necessary documentation may submit the application on their behalf.
Document Requirements:
All required documents, including the photo and signature, must be uploaded to the online application form (RER) before the application date.
Ensure document titles are clear and accurately labeled (e.g., "Hotel Booking," "Airline Ticket," "Employment Certificate").
Original documents and copies must be presented at the time of application.
Scheduling an Appointment:
To schedule an appointment, please send a screenshot of the online application page showing the list of uploaded documents.
Once we receive this via email, you may request an appointment by email. We will proceed with scheduling only after confirming that the request has been finalized in the system.

REQUIREMENTS:
1 - A Visa Request Form Receipt (RER): Completed, dated, and signed by the applicant. The Form is available at https://formulario-mre.serpro.gov.br/sci/pages/web/ui/#/instrucoes-iniciais-visto - APPLICANTS MUST STATE A VALID E-MAIL ADDRESS.
2 - Photograph: One 3.5 x 4.5cm photograph of the applicant taken within the last six months, against a white background, attached to the application form.
3 - Passport valid for at least 6 months after the estimated date of arrival in Brazil and with at least 2 blank pages available.
4 - Job certificate, in the applicant’s name, issued by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan, indicating position, duration of the employment, base salary; if owner of a firm, its income tax statement, e-government letter and ID card.
5 - Non-Azerbaijani passport holders must present Permit Residence Card from Azerbaijani Migration and a valid visa to Azerbaijan.
6 - Applicant's income tax revenue statement or last three months banking statements issued mechanically by banking institutions, proving pattern of sufficient and compatible financial means to travel internationally, and to cover expenses in the destination in Brazil during the period of the trip.
7. Hotel reservation or invitation letter from Brazil (with full name of applicant, nationality, purpose of the trip and intended period of stay).
8. Proof of means of transportation to entry and exit from the Brazilian territory (Round trip tickets paid and issued for the applicant);
9. Payment in Azerbaijani Manats. A fee of AZN 152 for Azerbaijani citizens must be deposited or transferred to: International Bank of Azerbaijan, Nizami Street 67,

Proof of deposit or transfer must be sent to: CONSULAR.BAKU@ITAMARATY.GOV.BR
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Cash, credit card, personal or company checks are not accepted. No consular fees will be refunded for any reason.

For Minors:
- Copy of the birth certificate.
- Copies of both parents' passports.
- Parental/Legal Guardian Permission Letter, signed and notarized: a) If the child is traveling with only one parent. b) If the child is traveling alone. c) If one parent is deceased, a copy of the deceased parent's death certificate must be provided.
Attending Conferences, Seminars, Educational, Sports, or Artistic Events:
If attending a conference or seminar (as either an attendee or speaker) without receiving any form of payment or financial compensation, the applicant must include the following supporting documents in their application:
- Leave Letter: A letter from the employer stating that the applicant is on leave to attend a conference or seminar in Brazil.
- Invitation Letter: A letter from the organizers of the conference or seminar the applicant is planning to attend.

ALL APPOINTMENTS WILL BE SCHEDULED BY EMAIL ONLY: CONSULAR.BAKU@ITAMARATY.GOV.BR
Appointments at the Consular Service of the Embassy to collect applicant’s printed documents and RER will be scheduled from 10:30AM to 12:30PM, Monday to Friday.
Applicants will be advised by e-mail of the date their documents and visa are ready to be collected. Retrieval of documents will only be scheduled from 3:30PM to 4:30 PM. No access to the Consular Section floor will be authorized after 4:30PM.
