PEC-G Scholarship Program (2025 Edition)
The Embassy of the Federative Republic of Brazil in Accra has the pleasure to announce that our University Exchange Scholarship Program, PEC-G is now open for enrollment. Ghanaian students desiring to pursue an undergraduate program in Brazil may apply for the PEC-G 2025 Edition, from 22nd July to 23rd August, 2024.
The Exchange Program for Undergraduate Students (PEC-G) provides students from developing countries with which Brazil maintains Educational, Cultural or Scientific and Technological agreements the opportunity to pursue their undergraduate studies in Brazilian Higher Education Institutions. Scholarship ONLY covers the full tuition of students. Your Sponsor/Guardian needs to cater for all the other expenses during the period in Brazil (Accommodation, Ticket to Brazil, Transportation, feeding etc.).

HOW TO APPLY
Applicants must first of all complete and submit the pre-registration form via this link https://forms.office.com/r/y6uNjEA1Pz from 22nd July to 23rd August.
Applicants will be contacted and requested to present the following documents to the embassy after completion of the form.
• Original and copy of school transcripts (Senior High Secondary);
• Original and copy of testimonial (Senior High Secondary);
• Original and copy of Birth Certificate;
• Original and copy of WASSCE certificate or results;
• Original and copy of Parent’s ID (Any of the following will be accepted: Ghana Card, Passport and Birth certificate);
• Applicants must submit a general medical report. This is to inform authorities about any possible medical condition for assistance when needed. The medical report will not be used against the applicant’s admission.
SPONSOR’S REQUIREMENTS
A sponsor can be a family member, friend or anyone who meets the requirements below.
-Be able to remit the applicant at least USD$300 every month;
-Have a monthly income of at least USD$900;
-Provide a 3 months bank statement as proof of income;
-Sign a financial commitment agreement form (TRF) at the embassy.
