SOME PASSPORT HOLDERS NEED TO APPLY IN PERSON

Applicants holding Afghan, Egyptian, Eritrean, Ethiopian, Iranian, Iraqi, Jordanian, Lebanese, Libyan, Nepalese, Nigerian, North Korean, Pakistani, Palestinian, Senegalese, Sudanese or Syrian passports are required to apply in person.

 WHAT KIND OF VISA DO I NEED?

1. I am a tourist and/or will visit my family and/or will participate in sports or artistic competitions as an amateur, with admissions free of charge, and/or will attend conferences of professional interest, and my participation will not be remunerated - VIVIS;
2. I will do unpaid trainee in the operation or maintenance of equipment or machines made in Brazil - VITEM I;
3. I am under 21 years old and will practice amateur sports in Brazilian institutions - VITEM I;
4. I am a scientist, professor or researcher participating in scientific or technological studies (Scientific Research Visa) - VITEM I;
5. I will be an exchange students program - VITEM I;
6. I will do volunteer work in Brazil - VITEM I;
7. I will be a technician, contractor, researcher, specialist linked to official entities, private or non-governmental under the shelter of a cooperation agreement recognized by the Brazilian Ministry of External Relations - VITEM I;
8. I will undergo a medical treatment in Brazil - VITEM I;
9. I will undergo business meetings in Brazil and will not earn salary from a Brazilian source - VIVIS;
10. I  will adopt a Brazilian child - VITEM II;
11. I am part of a filming crew and/or I am a journalist working for a short period in Brazil - VITEM II;
12. I am an artist or sportsperson and will earn remuneration from a Brazilian source - VITEM III;
13. I will be a college or university student - VITEM IV;
14. I will participate in a internship in a Brazilian company - VITEM V;
15. I will work for a Brazilian company - VITEM V;
16. I will work for a Brazilian company to provide transfer of technology or technical assistance - VITEM V;
17. I will work in Brazil as a news correspondent - VITEM VI;
18. I will work in Brazil as a minister of a religious congregation - VITEM VII;
19. I am married to a Brazilian citizen or to a foreigner with permanent residence in Brazil - Permanent visa for Family Reunion - Termo de responsabilidade e manutenção;
20. I am the parent of a Brazilian child or I have the legal guard of a Brazilian minor (Permanent visa RN 108/2014);
21. I will invest in Brazil - Permanent visa;
22. I will be a manager, administrator, director or representative of a foreign financial institution in Brazil - Permanent visa;
23. I will be the president of a philanthropic institution or NGO in Brazil - Permanent visa;
24. I am retired - Permanent visa;
25. I am a Mercosur National and I want to live in Brazil - Temporary Residence Visa (VRT).
