If a Brazilian citizen dies abroad, the Brazilian Embassy can:

Issue a death certificate (free of charge);

Assist the family and relatives of the deceased with legal matters and local procedures concerning the identification of the body, exhumation and transport of mortal remains, if it is the case;

Provide non-objection letters eventually requested by the local authorities.
The Embassy CANNOT, however, be responsible for any expenses related to the burial, cremation, embalmment, and/or repatriation of the remains, which are under the responsibility of the family of the deceased.
The following documents should be forwarded to the Consular Section:

Death Registration Form duly filled and signed by the declarant (closest relative), If the declarant is not a Brazilian citizen, he/she should first have his signature legalized by a notary public or by the consular authority of his/her Embassy or Consulate in UAE;

Copy of the declarant’s identity card;

Brazilian passport and CPF (if possible) of the deceased;

Death certificate issued by the local authorities;

Medical certificate attesting the cause of death;
-
Certificate of exhumation, embalmment or cremation, if applicable.
The declarant must sign the register book at the Embassy.
