Legalization of Emirati documents

The Embassy of Brazil in Abu Dhabi can legalize Emirati documents that must be presented in Brazil. To request the service:

ask the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates to legalize the document (for more details, click here).

in case of school and academic documents, it is necessary to obtain first a legalization from the Ministry of Education of the United Arab Emirates (for more details, consult the authority that issued the document).

pay the required consular fees (for more information on the payment of consular fees, click here).

book an appointment (for more information about appointments, click here).

on the day of the service, bring to the Embassy the documents that are going to be legalized, the proof of payment of the consular fees, the proof of the appointment and your Brazilian identity document with photo (if you are not a Brazilian, bring your Emirates ID or your passport).
You must bring all the documents required, otherwise your request may be denied and you will have to book a new appointment. If there are no problems with the documentation, the legalization will be issued on the same day of the appointment, between 12:30 and 13:30 (on Fridays, between 11:00 and 12:00).
CONSULAR FEES
Legalizations of Emirati documents cost AED 80.00 per document. In case of school and academic documents, however, legalizations cost AED 20.00 per document. Finally, legalization of documents to be used to obtain and/or secure government pensions, public service salary, military pensions or retirement pensions are free.
