The Mission of Brazil

Brazil is a founding member of the UN and an advocate of the principles established in the UN Charter, including peace, sovereign equality of nations, the promotion of fundamental freedoms and the peaceful resolution of conflicts. Brazil has a universal diplomatic agenda and participates in all major negotiations in the three major areas of the United Nations: peace and security, sustainable development and human rights.
