Nascido em 30 de maio de 1952; diplomata de carreira desde 1977.
O Embaixador Frederico Meyer serviu nas Embaixadas do Brasil no Iraque (1980-1983), na União Soviética (1985-1989), na Missão Brasileira nas Nações Unidas e outras Organizações Internacionais em Genebra (1989-1993 e 1998-2003), na Guiana (1993), em Cuba (1995-1998), na Missão na ONU em NY (2003-2006). Foi Embaixador no Cazaquistão (cumulativo com a República Quirguiz e o Turcomenistão) (2006-2011), Embaixador no Marrocos (2011-2015), Representante Permanente Alterno na ONU em Nova York (2017-2019), Cônsul Geral em Guangzhou (2019-2023) e Embaixador em Israel (2023-2024).

Ambassador Frederico Meyer has served at the Embassies of Brazil in Iraq (1980-1983), in the Soviet Union (1985-1989), at the Mission of Brazil to the United Nations and other International Organizations in Geneva (1989-1993 and 1998-2003), at the Embassies in Guyana (1993), in Cuba (1995-1998), at the Mission to the UN in NY (2003-2006). He has been Ambassador to Kazakhstan (cumulative with the Kyrgyz Republic and Turkmenistan) (2006-2011), Ambassador to Morocco (2011-2015), Alternate Permanent Representative to the UN in NY (2017-2019), Consul General in Guangzhou (2019-2023), and Ambassador to Israel (2023-2024).
