VITEM VII - Work - Missionary
General information
- Issued to foreigners intending to come to Brazil as ministers or members of a Religious order, as well as those coming to work as missionaries;
How to apply
- In person, at the Consulate; or by mail, sending the documentation listed below together with proof of payment of the Consular Fee and an envelope with your own address and CHF 6,30 in stamps.
- The applicant must come personally to pick up the Visa.
- We require at least five work days to process the Visa.
Required documents

Online form, filled and printed out and signed. The picture and signature must be scanned and added onto the online form. Attention: the website of the online form is SAFE! Attention: the name of the parents of the applicant must be written in full and with all names (given, middle and surnames). |

Passport valid for at least another six months at the date of entry in Brazil, and with two free pages. |

Auszug aus dem Zentralstrafregister (criminal records). No legalization is necessary; valid for 90 days. |

Passport picture (ICAO standard picture – in color, white background, face must be neutral). |

Constitutive act, or social statute, of the religious institution based in Brazil. |
| 6 | Proof of power of legal representation of the institution in Brazil. |
| 7 | Declaration, from the institution in Brazil, of financial support and exit from Brazil. |
| 8 |
Declaration of ordainment, or school history, or declaration from the institution, that qualifies the applicant for the activities to be performed within the country. |

| 10 | Original of the birth certificate or another document containing the names of both parents. |

The Visa Fee will not be reimbursed in case of:
(i) the Visa is denegated;
(ii) the Visa is not issued;
(iii) the applicants give up the trip.
