THIS IS THE CONSULATE GENERAL OF BRAZIL IN SHANGHAI
The Consulate General is the unit of Itamaraty (Brazil's Foreign Ministry) that provides services to Brazilian nationals and promotes the Brazil-China partnership in Shanghai and in the Provinces of Anhui, Jiangsu, Shandong and Zhejiang. Established in 1882, the Consulate General in Shanghai was Brazil's first official representation in Asia. It reopened in 2002, covering a wide range of areas, especially consular assistance and services, trade, investment and tourism promotion, science and technology cooperation and public diplomacy.
