Visa Fees

This Consulate has its resources and staff members designated to provide services to individuals from its jurisdiction (District of Columbia, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky and North Carolina).

Visa Fees

- All payments should be made ONLY by USPS MONEY ORDER, made out to the CONSULATE GENERAL OF BRAZIL in the exact amount of the service requested.

- Please bring one money order per visa application.

 - The visa fee may comprise:

• A Basic Visa Fee;
• A Processing Fee based on reciprocity: an identical fee charged to Brazilian citizens applying for a visas for the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom and the United States of America;
•  Kosovo passport holders must also pay an additional US$ 80,00 fee in order to have a Laissez-Passer issued.

*Please note:

1) FEES are NON-REFUNDABLE. Please be very careful upon submitting your visa application. Incorrect, incomplete and withdrawn applications will be charged regardless of the visa being granted or not.

2) No rush or express services are offered. Hence, no expediting fees are charged by this Consulate.

3) Visitor visas for bearers of diplomatic and official passports are free of charge.

The visa fees listed bellow are cumulative and charged per each visa submission in US dollars. Please read carefully the instructions above, since more than one fee may apply. If you have multiple citizenships, you will be charged based on the nationality of the passport you have presented.
