END OF FGTS WITHDRAWAL MODE BY CONSULAR REPRESENTATIONS

Caixa Econômica Federal informs that FGTS will be withdrawn exclusively through the FGTS application as of February 1, 2021.

In 2020, CAIXA implemented the 100% digital FGTS withdrawal, which allows all workers, including residents abroad, to make the withdrawal request through the FGTS application, with the 'upload' of the documentation that proves the right to withdraw .

When requesting a withdrawal through the mobile application, the worker can indicate his bank account at any financial institution in Brazil to credit the withdrawal amount. The digital service for the movement of linked FGTS accounts through the FGTS application serves both resident and non-resident workers in Brazil, with coverage for all withdrawal modalities provided for by law.
